I will be starting my first year at uop in a couple weeks, just wondering about the electives the school has to offer. Do they have nuclear pharmacy internships, clinical drug trials.Research without being in the phD program. I was just wondering about oppurtunities outside of retail and hospital pharmacy. I kind of chose to go attend uop for family reasons. I was also accepted to unm, which has a huge chemistry dept, nuclear pharmacy, poison control, medical school, etc . They have a vast amount of choices other than hospital or retail pharmacy. Just want some feedback.

That has the listings for elective courses you can take. The Associate Dean of Professional Affairs has past experience with Nuclear Pharmacy. Elective courses are under PMED and PHYP. Welcome to pharmacy school...the study of poisons.
