Congratulations! I plan to apply to UOP too! I would recommend choosing UOP only because if you want to practice in California you DO NOT need to take any regional or state board to practice if you graduate from any California dental school.

I got acceptance too. However, I also got accepted in LLU. Which one you think is better for clinical experience?

Thank you.

Congratulations pallkgmc! tuldawg is right. No need to take any board if you plan to practice in California. But besides that I would choose UOP too, because its a very good program and very hard to get into and your hard work truly paid off!

I will tell you what I told pallkgmc, go to UOP because its in S.F. a bigger city so more clinical experience. Congrats on both acceptances!

unfrotunatelu thats not true..u do have to clear the WREB and other licence exams ..even if you graduate from claifornia schools..the good thing about colorado is its chepaer than uop :0)

please ignore typos..i used iphone 🙂

Hey Guys..
any reviews on choice between UTHSCSA and UOP???????

Congrats Pallkgmc/Elixir. This is great success!!!
In my opinion, hands down for UOP! better patient pool, more clinical exposure & u get to stay in sfo. I am sure this would be a good experience overall.

Hi guys,

How about between Michigan and UOP. tough choice. please suggest.

Congrats to all of you who have gotten in. For those of you who are debating between UOP and another school, I agree with Kash! UOP is the one of the best schools out there and for all the reasons that Kash mentioned! Its in a bigger city so more patient inflow, better experience. I would love to go to UOP! You guys are all so lucky!! Congrats!

Congratulations!

I have received my letter of acceptance too🙂, Congratulations to all that have been accepted. Hope that we will stay in contact to share info. About the acceptance process. We can start a group on face book for UOP 2013 if you want.:banana::banana::banana:

Hi Dentist76,

Congratulations on your acceptance!!! I personally know few students in LLU and they cannot say anything less about their clinical experience. I know UOP is good too, but at the end of the one has to see how much student loan will be awaiting, and TRUST me in this economy with the interest rates being sooo high...one has to very wise in selecting the schools.

Congratulations to All who got their acceptance from UOP. This is a moment to cherish, and I know what it takes and how it feels (been there done that).

I usually frequent the forums and have noticed some really surprising discussions. Like, someone was asking is the prog. in San Antonio better than UOP?? Well, the answer is, both are really good schools and trust me, almost all schools are good except a few where the clinical exposure is bad. At the end of the day once we get into real time dentistry it does not matter where you graduated from. But one thing for sure will matter, that is you STUDENT LOANS. If any of you has a chance to talk to any dentist about this, you might get a fair picture of it.

So, please think, ask and try to visualize that. I know its not the only one has to look into, but NOW YOU HAVE TO START THINKING LONG TERM!!

i got in too. so happy:boom::boom::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

colorado program is a lot cheaper than uop and even the cost of living would be less than san francisco and you will graduate 6 months earlier!
i'm happy that i'm goin' to colorado!

That is true....totally missed it, graduating 6 months does make a huge difference!!

Thanks everyone !!!
colorado is a great shcool..faculty is very nice..stress free environment and they do have lot of patients too..lot cheaper ..graduate 6 months early..if the choice was between colorado and uscf..than I might have chosen UCSF but out of UOP and colorado..I would definitely pick colorado..hope it helps..let me know if you have any questions..I have a friend in colorado who is graduating this december 🙂

count me in too..see you all !! :boom::boom::banana::banana::banana::banana:
