I have my first interview this week and I’m extremely nervous about it. It is going to be 3 different one on one interviews and I was wondering if anybody had that kind of format before and what to expect. Would you expect all 3 interviewers to be asking me similar questions or will one be asking more get to know you stuff while the others ask more challenging questions?

A mixture of anything you just said. Just relax and have fun!

What is the best way to introduce yourself and flow into an interview? Obviously in person you shake their hands and say nice to meet ya blah blah blah, but what have people been doing over zoom??

When I was at college for my school scholarship interview, I remember that when I walked into a room, surprisingly noticed there were 7 interviewers sitting in front of me, lol. It was very impressive. It was really short and they were not interested in me that much because I was the last person being interviewed. Each person took a turn and asked me 1 question only and was not related. I am not sure my interview is going to be similar to yours, but I guess the format will be roughly same.

Hi, congrats on your interview! For which school is this?

I didn't like the 3 different one on one interviews. For me each interview lasted 10-15 minutes. The bad part was we never got past the superficial stuff and into the good "this is who I am and why you should pick me" stuff. Try to get past the casual crap fast and let them see the "real you" as soon as you can. They'll remember the deep personal information more than the casual superficial junk.

Did you get accepted to the school?

Was this interview with MOSDOH or a different school?
