UPDATE - AADSAS Mailing Schedule

AADSAS currently is mailing out applications in batches of 450 twice a week. There is a queue setup that is based on the date your GPA was verified. From this date it takes between 4 and 8 weeks to have your application mailed out. The next mailing is tommorrow and another one on Monday. You can contact AADSAS to find out the date your GPA (transcript) was verified to get a better estimate of how long it'll take, but they do NOT know who is in the queue or when yours will be mailed out exactly.

The good news in all of this is that compared to last year where they only sent out 200 once a week, sending out 450 twice a week is an incredible improvement on their part. They are also working on a completely paperless system where they won't send out any paper packets to the school, but the schools will have to download all information. This will be put in place once they get the system setup to send letter of recommendations digitally, but this may take a couple of years. This is all I know, but just wanted to pass this bit of info along.

r u sure that it is from the date of gpa calculation?
cuz mine got calculated after a day from e-submitting...

^^ Yes, 4-8 weeks after the date your GPA has been verified. I've called AADSAS many times and they've repeated that the date your GPA verification is when the 4-8 week possible mail out period begins. It does NOT start when you've submitted your application.

Nope, I don't know where the AADSAS people place the date of verifying your GPA. At least in my online application, I don't see a date of when they have verified my GPA. They only told me the GPA verification date when I called them last week.

so if my gpa was verified....on the 17th of july....there not gonna mail it out for another 4-8 weeks?! that is a bit disappointing, i thought i was relatively early to (e submitted on june 30)!

I submitted my app late at night on July 18th and when I checked it again on the 19th, my GPA was verified....WEIRD! 😱

you guys do realize that AADSAS moving faster this year doesnt really make a difference in the overall scheme of things...all it does is give you peace of mind, but i guess thats big for a lot people. But think about it. When schools get swamped with applications sooner, it just sits in their office until they are ready to deal with them -- which is probably around the same time as last year. If anything, it hurts people with the so-so borderline stats because schools have more applicants to pick from by the time they are ready to hand out interview invites.

i was thinking the same thing...
what do you think is considered average stats these days though? 19/19/17 dats and a 3.3? i think its something along those lines
