Hello.

You guys probaly read my thread before about a "career change."
I attended my sister's wedding last Saturday and my brother-in=law's sister husband is a dentist.

He has been working in the profession for quite a while now and he will be looking for someone in the next 5 years. I started asking him some questions about all of the rumors about dentistry and told him I am thinking about presuing the profession. He told me that anytime i have a question about it to just give him a call. He kept stressing that. 🙂
This made me feel a really good vibe between us.

I also asked if i could possibly observe him and his work on a typical day. He said sure and he also knows some SoCal densits which may be closer for me.

I am going to continue doing more research and give him a call. I never met someone that was very enthusiastic about densitry although this is the first one i have the pleasure to talk to indept about this occupation.

So what do you guys think?

Sounds like a good experience. Take advantage of your newly found connection and get some observation hours. You can also develop the relationship to the point where you can get an excellent letter of recommendation from him.

Thanks for the advice. The observation hours would be great so i can apprehend this field.

What are some good questions that i could ask? Even though i will ask questions, I don't want to leave anything out.
