It would be helpful if everyone using SDN would get a predents account and link it to SDN. Hopefully it would remove a lot of the repetitive posts about who got an interview where and when and what your stats are. It's only going to get worse when the flurry of interviews start soon.

By the way, can anybody beat me on number of schools applied to? I did 32! I know that's gotta be up there. I don't know if it's nerves or lack of confidence, but I'm new to this and would rather not have to go through the app process again, or especially have to take the DAT again. That was one of the most stressful days ever.

probably 300 dollars more than what you paid...after a while increasing schools doesn't really increase the $$

Im pretty sure this year the ADA changed the application price. $60 for every school over 5 you apply to. 32 would be quite a bit 😱
my guess is around the $8000 dollar mark just for AADSAS... then think of doing all the secondaries... and 45-85 bucks for every school.... you'd be looking at over $10,000 just to apply.... then you know your at least gonna get a few interviews.... thats another few thousand... man this stuff is expensive....I'd rather die.

AADSAS alone cost me $2000, DAT scores another $800, tack on almost $2000 for secondaries; puts me at about $5k just for apps. Now.......... I have to buy plane tickets for any interviews I get, and well yes I'm expecting I might drop nearly $10k when this is done. Upside is I've been out of school for a few years so I can work to pay that off. I probably would keep it around 22 schools, if i could do it over. I'm learning as I go.

8000? No way.

8 schools for me was 1000, I bumped it up to 16 and the price went up to like 1400. Even tripling this does not equal 8,000.

You also do not have to fill out every secondary you get, which would be ridiculous.

Keep in mind that secondary can cost a ton too. I applied to 20+ and the AADSAS fee was already around 1600. Sending each individual DAT scores also cost me another 700 or so. Then each schools seconday usually ranges from 50-100, so that's around 3,000 total, excluding the interview fees...
