update with summer grades?

I retook a pre-req lab class over summer. First time I got a C-, this time I got a B. Should I update dental schools about this now? Am i supposed to send another transcript to AADSAS?

My app has already been sent out, so will they have to reverify my gpa? I ask because my science gpa is above a 3.0, so this B will in essence bring down my gpa slightly. or should i just update them when they ask for an update

It depends on the dental school. Some schools will gladly accept an updated official transcript directly from the Registrar's Office, but some will not. I sent several schools an updated summer transcript a few weeks ago, but I know for a fact that schools such as Temple, Boston, and Louisville will not accept it b/c they are going paperless and need transcripts verified by AADSAS. Your best bet is to call each of the schools up and see if you can send them an updated transcript or if you can get it emailed.
