UPenn Interview - early Nov.

So I recently got an interview at Penn...wondering if anyone else happens to be the same day? I have Nov. 6th which is pretty legit since it's a pre-Dec 1st but considering I'm flying in Wednesday the 5th at like 10pm from Seattle (which isn't cheap in itself 🙁 ), hotels are not exactly cheap. Both the hotels on/near the UPenn campus are booked so I'm about to resort to alternatives. From what I have read, UPenn gives interviews to groups of 10-15 students so if anyone on here happens to have the same date, please let me know. Thanks.

I still haven't received any information from Penn about an interview or a rejection. Wonder what's taking them so long. Oh well, I guess that I'll just have to wait it out.

make sure to not stay any where west of campus haha.
btw, how long did it take you to finish the 2ndary? it seems like such a pain.

yeah I'm pretty sure the secondary is almost like a weed-out method in itself haha...I spent a few days writing and editing it

hotels are not exactly cheap

I'm staying at a Holiday Inn that's slightly SE from campus (≈ 5 miles), and it was pretty inexpensive. I don't know the exact price, but I did a travel package from www.priceline.com and got round-trip airline tix (from Miami) and 2 nights @ the Holiday Inn (Philadelphia Stadium) for a total of $300 flat. Compared to the other places I'm flying to, that's pretty cheap. I had the same issue of all the nearby hotels being booked (October 31st Interview Date). It sucks, but I'll just take a cab or use public transportation. Hope this helps.

If you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay you might want to consider Cherry Hill, NJ. Last time I needed to be somewhere early in Philly I got a place there for about 50/night and it only took 20-25 mins to get to where I needed to be.
