UPENN interview hopefuls

hi this info is for those guys still waiitng to hear from UPENN

i just called in the morning to check my app status , i spoke to them for about 15 minutes.

this is the info i got from them.

they have recieved in excess of 400 applications this year and so far interviewd only 2 batches and since october 1 the admission committe hasnot yet reviewed any application.

They are gonna call 80 out this 400 for interviews and it might take little longer than expected , coz the UPENN PASS admissions and UPENN regular 4 yr DMD program admissions are going in parellel, so PASS application reviews gonna take a slow lane and will be resumed may be next week or towards the end of it.

So dont give up your hopes till the first of december , keep your fingers crossed.

Obviously, if you check this forum, there are 3 batch ppl got interviwed. Sept.25, Oct2 and Oct9.
the idea I thought would be they cut the all interviews into half, which means there will be no interview on Oct.23 and Oct.30! the second half interview will begin on NOV. 6. (that's why they gave me 2 options OCt16 or Nov. 6). the acceptence letters of the first 4 batches will be sent after Nov.1. I believe the 2nd half will be sent after mid of Dec....

its up to you to believe whatever you want , as far as the offical info from the PASS office staff is ....what i have posted in the begining of the thread....
