Hi. I was told that UPenn only uses mail (not email) to speak to applicants. Has anyone got interview invite from UPenn? I updated my mail address after I e-submitted a little late, and I'm worried that I might have missed something. Thank you.

Called today and spoke to this really nice lady at the admissions office. She didn't give me a hard date but said they'd start handing out interviews/rejections mid-late August.

ahh my previous post is possibly inaccurate. I may have misspoken on the phone when I asked "when are you going to be notifying applicants about interviews and rejections?"...the person I spoke to at the admissions office didn't correct me and might have meant just interviews.
i guess we'll find out soon though...

I just got a letter in the mail (snail mail) today from UPenn saying that my application is complete and ready for review. It also said that if any interview request would be sent "in writing". I guess this could mean email, but I assume they mean through the physical mail. Also, all of the correspondence I have received from UPenn thus far has been through snail mail so I assume that is the way they communicate with students.

Not me hahaha. Pretty sure upenn starts sending out invites during late 3rd week of august.

Waiting outside of starbucks stealing wifi, help keep me entertained!

After the first envelope (with that background info packet), the second envelope that arrives will probably be some type of decision on us. So, that is the piece of mail to really hold your breath about!

This is the Pre-Dental forum for students who have yet to attend dental school. You should post your questions in the International Dental forum. I believe there's a thread for 2012 matriculation into their advanced standing international program.

Penn sent me their application package by mail and with it they included a list of things they were missing from me, Supplemental app, supplemental fee and 2 reference letters as indicated on supplemental app.

I'm curious to know if I have to send 2 additional letters or they just need me ot indicate I am using the ones sent with my AADSAS application on their supplemental application?

on their supp app it asks you to list the two you are using. they presumably are from AADSAS, so no, you do not need to send in 2 additional letters. I just selected two from my aadsas and they said my app was complete.

It says on the sheet to write down the recommendations being sent to AADSAS. So, match them up with the ones you already have.
