Few minutes ago I received an invitation to the interview too....
Did you call to that number to schedule your interview?

Are you kidding me ??!! sure it took me 2 seconds to pick up the phone😉.

I applied not later than the last week of June.

Its by regular mail. They dont call, dont email or FedEx.

interviwe letters for the first phase at penn should be received by the end of next week. I think pitt and BU will be sending letter by the end of this month. So good luck every one.
 
Hey drsbcd and monreal...thats grt news!! The most difficult part of this application process is to get an interview..and u guys have done it! Good luck to both of u!👍
Monreal..if u dont mind..pls share ur stats and work exp with us so that we will have an idea of what the schools r looking for in an applicant.Thanx!
 
I received the package today, I'll call them to schedule the interview probably on the next business day which is the day after tomorrow, Monday. My stats are:

NBDE I/II : 91 (new format)/yet to be taken
Toefl: 113 iBT
Experience: 2 yrs back home as a Dentist, more than 7 months in the States as an observer/DA
GPA: 3.50 ECE
Nationality: Persian
Date applied: have no idea 😕

Btw..jus wanted to know..does the school give u certain dates for the interview and ask u to schedule whenever u want or is it a fixed date and u have to call up and confirm whether u r coming??

As far as I know there is no practical exam at Upenn ...not even a dental related question...they only ask you personal things...

They didn't give you a certain date...but your chooice should be on a Tuesday...not in every day of a week...You have to call them back and schedule the interview...

Have you heard anything from UIC? Do not worry, UPenn only ask about personal Qs, no clinical at all. Just be confident. They more care about your communication skills. Good luck! You are a great guy and I bet you will get in a school anyway!

hey guys... Even i haven't hard anything from them .. what do you think should we call them and ask them about the interview date/ status of the application..

Actually thats not completely true..one of my friends who jus graduated from Penn told me that at her interview..they asked path & microbio questions!!!:scared:
She had jus written her exam and therefore answered all the questions. Even she was surprised becos she was the only one in the batch to be questioned on this!

I got the letter in the mail but it was too late to call so i have to wait until tomorrow to call
 
I got the mail too - but am gonna schedule it for october 2nd - becoz of the UMN interviews .. does postponing the interview have any negative impact - any ideas?

Well, it seems to me that they have just started the process of sending interview invitations. Be patient, I'm sure you'll get one.
