Did anyone else get a change of phone number sent to them from the UPenn list serv e-mail? Seemed strange.....

Yeah I got the original email, and a bunch of replies form people saying it was mistakenly sent to them. what the heck is going on? aren't the emails going to UPenn?

here's the deal...upenn set up a mailing list for all the 2002 applicants. instead of writing to the regular email adress, [email protected], "diane" decided to write to the listserv address...now we can all expect to get tons of annoying emails.

me too! Poor thing she sent it to everyone in the applicant pool! I sent her a personal email....

geez what was that sarcastic remark that person sent?! you could have been a little nicer 😀

I have to agree - this is getting significantly annoying. And to think, some of these folks are going to be future physicians. The one girl makes a simple mistake, these folks should be bright enough to see and know what has happened.... and they should then just politely send an E-mail to her directly ONLY if they want to be helpful....

I did that as well. I sent a nice reply to HER only, informing her of her mistake....gosh that guy freaked me out! "you dont deserve to go into medical school" geez, take a chill pill buddy

what is worse, people think that the LIST Serve is the Uof Penn admissions committee! I just got an email from this post Bac guy asking U of Penn to please rectify the mistake!!!

Hello people...the listserve is NOT the admissions committe, that is the mistake the original person made!!!!

gosh, and they aren't stopping...for every annoying person, there are 3 people who are aboslutely clueless who hit reply anyway....

gosh its filling up my capacity real fast....I hope they stop.... 🙁

I really hope the UPenn admish see all of these emails, they will help them make their admission decisions soooo much better! I'm ashamed that these people are even premeds!
