for those of you who have accepted the offer from penn and received the package including the pin, i was wondering wut was the content. penn has sent my package back home to my permanent address while i'm still in school, i'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me evaluate the urgency of this thing.

it's basically just a letter, indicating your pennkey setup code and penn id. it states that the setup code will expire 60 days from which the letter was sent, so if you wait till may when you graduate to go home and setup your pennkey, 60 days would have passed already...

can you tell your parents to scan it and email it to you? or you could just go here: https://rosetta.upenn.edu/cgi-bin/register_pennkey/register

and then ask your parents to tell you what the setup code is...

Yeah, you'd do well to take care of it soon, but the world won't end if you don't do it right away. Your PennKey is essential to have once you get here as it allows you to access most course content available on the web.

You'll most likely find yourself using it about a dozen times a day. Learn to love it.
