I got the same thing a couple months ago. Finished everything up soon after and haven't heard a thing since. I bet it is something they send everyone who's application wasn't complete at one time or another.

It doesn't mean they are interested; they do this for everyone to inform you if your application is complete or if you need to send more information, since they only communicate by snail mail.

I applied to Penn even though I have virtually no shot there, but I do love their classiness with the fancy letters and personal signatures 🙂.

One of my good friends initially applied to Penn, but then decided not to submit their supplemental (he has other interviews/felt it was too late). He just received a packet with information about the school and a letter outlining what he needed to submit in order for his application to be complete with a hand-written signature and checkmarks next to supplemental/fee. Does this mean they are interested in him and want him to submit their supplemental to take a closer look, or do they just want his money? I can't imagine they would care enough to have the admissions coordinator do this for every applicant.. Just curious so I can give him the best advice possible, cheers.

They send it for everyone who didn't finish the secondary app by the time they review your submission, so if he/she is not planning to go, then don't waste the money.

thanks for the advice guys. will be sure to relay the info.

They do this for almost every applicant.

LOL, this is done for everyone who forgets to submit their supplemental...yes, they just want the money whether u have a 15 DAT or 30:laugh:

So does this mean if you haven't send out the supplement by the time you receive the letter, you don't really have a chance there? I got mine something like two weeks ago and I still haven't submit it 🙁

Almost all the schools have their supplementary fee instructions posted on their admissions site. Most of them expect you to look up the information, follow the instructions, and send it to them within X weeks following the submission of your aadsas application. I wouldn't necessarily wait for email or snail mail prompts reminding you to send out the supplemental fee.

I took two weeks to submit mine because I was unsure of how to answer the questions best. Just hand in quality stuff and theyll be fine. I know with med school it's an unwritten rule that you submit the supplemental within two weeks of receiving it. Just do it now and you should be fine. Good luck!

You have a chance there, but its still rolling admissions.. I submitted mine when I sent out my AADSAS app, but still haven't heard from them so I'm not sure. I would submit it as soon as possible.
