I've read about how UPENN only ranks either the top 10 or top 15 students in the class. How does that affect students when they're applying to post-doctoral programs? Do the programs feel that this shows that the applicant is weak? I also ask this question about other schools and how they rank, including schools who don't rank at all. Any feedback would be appreciated.
