Yes, I know 4 people that got a call from Corky a week ago. I spoke to a professor who is on the admissions committee and she told me that there are over 20 spots still available and they are giving priority to those who are most interested (i.e., calling most often to check on their status). Apparently, they do not have a priority list at this point beyond the highest GPA/DAT score holders so the spots are pretty much open to anyone who is waitlisted and is eager to get in.

How did you find out that 4 people got the call? So, 4 people got the call on the same day? Does the admission committee meet once a week to make decisions? I am definitely eagerrrrr to get in, but I haven't heard back from the school...... so frustrating 🙁

i called last week and spoke to corky and she said that i am still on the waitlist

Call at least twice a week. As for Olivia once a week and Corky once a week. They enter onto their database that you called and the more you call the greater the likelihood that they will notice that you are very serious about attending.
I just learned that 2 people from my post-bac program just got a call today from Corky. They were waitlisted and told me that they were quite persistent in their calls to the office. Hang in there and you will get a call very soon.

If anyone does get in and needs a 2bd apt a block away from school .. Let me know on a quite block .. I was going to penn up until a week ago when i got into nyu but i cant get outta the lease at penn.. So its a 2 bd nice and big .. On pine and 39th.. 1255 when split between 2 its a good deal..
