Anyone on the Upenn waitlist heard any good news?

the last time i called them i was told mid may at the earliest anyone shud hear from them.

I called today just out of curiosity and they said friday they will start notifying people because a few spots have opened up, If i'm accepted i'll decline so hopefully it will be open to someone who needs the seat

i withdrew last week, so that should open up a spot for someone. sorry for those that were waiting, it was just a very difficult decision. i think i know of a couple other people that withdrew recently too, so hopefully good news comes to y'all.

They even send you a letter saying that they are sorry to hear that you cannot accept their offer. I know its all about bussiness but the letter was really touching though. I will def consider Penn if I wanna do some postgrad.

ya that letter was touching...in my opinion it seems like they genuinely care about their students. the school really is special if you can afford it.

So why haven't you already withdrawn your application from Penn then? Are you trying to find out how many schools accept you?
