IF you have opportunity to do observership in
1.University of pittsburgh,Western Psychiatric Institute
2.west virginia university,Morgantown
3.University of Chicago ,Rochester.
which one would you choose?

Depends on what your goals are. If you're going for the best training amongst the 4 you listed, you should go with Pitt.

If you're looking for fit, proximity to family/friends, and university offerings, then it could be any of those.
 
Is Pitt really that worthwhile? Can anyone comment on its training vis-avis, say, Cleveland Clinic or Case?

My sense of the programs you name is:

Cleveland Clinic--strong national reputation but known as a private practice-type program. Since it doesn't follow a university model, it may not place as great of an emphasis on education/training.

Case Western--solid regional program. While it may not have as broad of a national reputation, it may actually invest more resources into resident education.

Pitt--impressive facilities and strong reputation in psychiatry. Good resident training and exposure.
