UPitt vs. UCinci

Woudl you pick UPitt or UCinci, and why? Both schools are similarly ranked and are located in small metropoli. I've heard from a lot of people that Cinci is a much better school.

I don't know anything about UCinci, but I was wondering if anyone else thought that UPitt was overrated? I had a good friend who interviewed there last year and she said she absolutely hated the place. People keep raving about it, how it's better than Tufts, better than BU, it's one of the best schools in the nation... but WHY? I guess it's their football team, which, may I add, got crushed by the Patriots!!!

cinci is no where near pitt in rankings (not that it matters). You really should be able to read rankings. They are pretty easy to understand.

Are you talking about undergrad? Because for med school, Pitt is waaaaay better

Exactly. Rankings dont mean squat. Go where it's cheapest, where you're happiest, whatever. Don't go because Pitt is highly ranked.
