Hi,
The first University of Pittsburgh interview was on Monday the 15th of October. Does anyone care to share their views?

i got an email about how they are processing checks from 2k applicants.

got that email too. i missed the first round of interviews. hoping to hear from them on the 2nd time around...

i did meet Dr. Ken Etzel from Pitt admissions~he came to my school on a recruiting trip. he seemed like a great guy and the info meeting was good. this school is in my top 3.

The interview was super laid back. They just want to know that you can have a conversation with a faculty member! Also...i heard that they are opening november interview dates next week.

This is true. I was suppose to have an October interview but they told me they booked up fast. The admissions sent me an email saying that the November interviews are being booked this week.

I was there on the 15th and it was very laid back. There were a lot of interviewees there (I'd guess about 30), which surprised me. I interviewed with Dr. Etzel, who was super nice. He gave a little introductory talk in the beginning, and stressed the importance of asking them questions. We pretty much just chatted in the interview while I asked him questions about the school. Overall it was a good experience.

i just got an invite to Pitt!!!
