its a good GPA...just do decent on the DAT and you'll be fine....did you already apply?? if Not, I would suggest applying without the DAT scores, just to get the wheels in motion

I applied on July 2 and my application will be completed by Aadsas by Aug 2. that's what they tell me anyway 😉, you know how they are sometimes.

OP, if I were you, I would check out the under 3.0 thread for uplifting stories. If someone gets accepted with a 3.2 or above to dental school, please don't be offended, but I really don't think theres anything uplifting about it, even if the 3.2 is JUST SLIGHTLY below average if not average at some schools....Best of luck!

There's nothing uplifting about someone gaining confidence from someone else's story of accomplishing a goal or achieving personal success, no matter how similar or dissimilar the circumstances? If that is the case, then I beg to differ. Princewalta, go to the under 3.0 thread for some good posts. Be confident in how far you have come, keep studying, and go get that high DAT score! Be sure to return the favor and post your own story for others.

I got into UNLV and IU on Dec. 1st. I withdrew everywhere else right after that because UNLV was my first choice. My stats were 3.5 overall 3.5 science. DAT= 17AA 19 SCI 16 PAT with a 14 MATH. Hope this helps! I was very nervous and never thought I would get accepted to two places right on Dec. 1st. Who knows if I would have gotten into more if I didn't withdraw?? Good luck all! :luck:

Thanks for the encouragement! I need to hear stuff like that.
