Hey I just wanted to chime in and say if you are reapplying keep up your hope. I took the Aug. MCAT my first try and didn't get in. Retook the Aug. MCAT(stupid I know) and didn't get in. Then applied time number 3 Early Decision and got IN! If you have taken the MCAT more than once, have hope too because some schools take the best score in each section, or the best of your previous two, etc. If you truly want to be a MD, don't let some bumps in the road stop you. In the end your determination and prayers will pay off! Keep truckin' and before you know it your mom will be crying because you were accepted!!! I just got into MSUCOM and I this was my third time applying both DO/MD. I turned my AMCAS and AACOMAS in really early and so far, I have 4 interview requests (and I got into MSUCOM, my first interview).
My grades and MCAT arent super spectacular at all, but they saw my determination and the work I did in my Master of Science program at Indiana Univ.
And yes, my mom did cry this morning when I told her.

Congratulations!!! Best of luck in school next year!!! Even though it sucks with the apps. for a few cycles, it is well worth it when the mom cries
