Good luck with all your interviews. From what I've heard so far from seniors and others in Pittsburgh, its a good program. Its part of UPMC, and obviously not on the level of Presby, but then again not many FMGs get into Presby. I was hearing some rumors about it being shut down or whatever, but I dont know how true they are. Plus when I tried searching for the residency website, couldnt find anything but family med there (but I must admit it was a cursory search).
Have been to Pittsburgh several times - but I'm partial as I have family there. Dont think the public transport option is very good, you may perhaps have to rent a car. Allow lots of travel time though for traffic jams and rush hour and tunnels and small roads. Other than that dont know how hard or easy it is to get to.
PS If you're thinking twice about interviewing there - I hope you know that many others (including me) would kill for the chance! Please PM me if you decide not to go there...
