upper division vs. lower division

Do we just differentiate between the two based on the course numbers? I'm pretty sure that at my school lower division classes are those that are numbered 1-- or 2-- and upper division are 3-- and 4--. Under this system, anatomy and physiology are considered lower division. Is this right? Do these classifications even matter?

You know what, I went to my advisor last week, and she told me exactly the same, 1 and 2 are lower level, and 3 and 4 upper.

That’s exactly what I did. I put all 1000-2000 level classes as lower division and 3000-4000 level classes as upper division.

thats what I did too. it makes you wonder why aadsas makes you differentiate between upper and lower division if the course numbers are already listed, doesn't it? just kind of seems redundant.

Because different schools vary. At my undergrad 1-99 were considered lower division, 100-199 were upper division, and 200+ was graduate level. AADSAS can't know the specifics of each school out there, so they rely on the applicant to fill it out correctly.
