Has anyone ever heard of med school interviews being conducted by surgeons while they're operating? I know the vast majority of schools would never do this, but are there some that do? Just wondering if there's any truth to this, or if it's just another premed myth.

YES! They do it at the University of Florida. I've heard it freaks applicants out. I've been in the OR quite a bit, though, so I'm hoping for an interview there this time. I can show how cool and collected I am 😉 😀 . Don't bump your head on the little green handles...THEY'LL KILL YOU!!! Nah, just kidding! 😀

To let whoever know that was wondering, the little green handles are "light gloves", the sterile handles for the OR spotlights.

😀 Guess I should have let everyone know. Perhaps my evil side wanted to see them thinking, "WHERE ARE THE GOD-FORSAKEN LITTLE GREEN HANDLES!?" 😉 . Yes, I am too evil...
