I'm getting desperate, so I hope no one minds me posting this here.

I'm concerned that the veterinarians in my area aren't up-to-date on this matter, which is why I'm asking this here.

Is it possible to remove an Ureter calculi in cats? I'm told that it's not possible. I think it was something about how the ureter wouldn't heal and there would be leakage. I was told that not even a specialist would perform a surgery to remove the stones.

So what do you do about ureter calculi in cats? What's the best treatment options, especially when you have the kidneys to consider?

yes, it is done. Ask for a referral to a board certified surgeon. There is more than one technique they can use to remove the stone. And if the kidney is damaged bad enough they may even have to remove it also.
