wusup peoples...

kinda trippin here...

my test is on the 22nd...

I got a 220 equivalent on the NBME last tuesday

i took a couple of sets today and my qbank dropped!! hovering around 66% (over 3 sets earlier today); i kept getting screwed in behav/biostats/anatomy

i'm shooting for a 230-240.......I'm going through first AID/HY Neuro/HY Cell Molec....over this week. I'm taking the 2nd NBME on Friday

what do you think? i'd appreciate any advice you can share...

definitely need some reassurance.

Don't worry about your percentile dropping. That happened to me on QBank towards the end and I (correctly) attributed it to fatigue, continued stress, etc. On the day of the exam, your catecholamines will be so high and your thinking will be so lucid that you'll do far better than your BEST day of QBank. Good luck to you!!!

I'll be willing to bet you'll meet your goal of >230. Keep us posted.

P.S. As you may or may not know, I strongly stress HY Molecular Bio and I'm glad to see you picked it up. I had it overnighted to me 10 days or so before the exam and I'm glad I did!!!!! I think your strategy looks great.

Similarly, has anyone heard of someone going down from their projected score on NBME for the real Step 1? I've only seen people staying around that score or going up (some way up).

The practice test underpredicted my score, and I think that is most often the case, but I'm sure a good percentage of people se it go the other way.
