urgent advice needed

Hey guys...I just took the nbme form3 and scored 340=175! My exam is scheduled for the 10th of october. I have 2 options and have to decide quick cause tomorrow(3rd october) is the last day to reschedule my test date. I was hoping for some advice from you guys in regards to what would be better..either to extend the test date or study my buttt off this one week and take the bad boy. I do NOT wanna fail this and certainly dont want to make a decision in haste.
Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Have you taken any other NBME's? i haven't taken form 3 myself, but i have heard that it is the hardest of the four forms. if your scores are higher on form 2 (over 400)i wouldnt worry too much. If you havent taken form 2 I recommend you should do that.

If you are not comfortable with your scores, i would postpone the test date (by 2 -3 weeks). That would give you enough time to go over your weak areas and take another form. I speak from personal experience ( i got 186 on form 1 one day before my test and I failed the real thing (171). It's no fun studying for this test again👎

Thanks for the advice superoxide. I have not taken any other form. I took nbme 3 because my friend who took it said it was hard as hell...so I wanted to really see where I stood. There are a lot of people who say form 4 is also very hard. I think i will go ahead a postpone it for another few weeks and take form 2 as you mentioned..I too was thinking along those lines.
