The main factor drawing me to Temple is the urban setting and fin aid ($65k per year). It also has a good global health program,

OHSU costs a lot ($120k per year). It’s in a more white environment (I’m a black, African F). I’m conflicted because students here match into more competitive specialties.

Creighton in Arizona costs $110k per year. I’m indifferent towards it but phoenix seems nice. The Creighton Arizona campus is new, not sure if I should be too concerned about that

I'd choose Temple. The cost difference is not worth the minute difference in specialty match rate (I actually don't think there is a difference in competitiveness, I know for a fact a huge swath of OHSU students match into the local community programs). I've also heard from two black OHSU students that the SNMA chapter is woefully small and they've alluded to institutional racism present in the curriculum.

Just a note, but I think that it's a bit difficult to give advice without more details on what is **important** to you, and what each school means to you (e.g. what your desired speciality is, what are additional reasons for going/not going to a school). However, based off what you wrote, it seems that you believe that Temple is the best option for you. I think that you should go with your gut.

Two things that I will point out is that the weather will be quite different in Philly compared to the other two sites (colder), and the general culture differs between East and West Coast which could be challenging to adapt to (but absolutely doable!!!)

Take the financial aid at Temple and run!! I work at the OHSU hospital and although it's a great hospital with some really amazing people, it's not that special for you to spend $480k.

I got accepted to both OHSU and Creighton Phoenix but ended up choosing OHSU because it's my state med school and Creighton is a bit religious, limited research opportunities/funding, and didn't give me any scholarship. Also, OHSU has more prestige in medicine compared to Temple and Creighton, but it's definitely NOT worth the $$$. I'd pick Temple if I were in your shoes.
