I know this is a PCAT question but I kind of need an answer asap. Did anyone use flashcards for the PCAT? I know you can buy them at the bookstore...are they helpful? Or should I make my own? If I buy them...which brand is the best?

It's really a personal decision. If you're the type of person who normally uses flashcards to study, then maybe it would be a good idea. My suggestion would be to make your own flashcards, so that they are tailored to your needs. Since I didn't buy them myself, I'm not sure why brand is best, but I'm sure someone else can help you with that! 🙂

How are we suppose to answer this question without knowing how you study and knowing what kind of learner you are??
Of course some people have used flashcards and I am sure some poeple liked them and some people didn't like them, just like any learning tool.

When you study for others tests do you use flashcards? Do they help you? Well if you answered yes then get flashcards if you have never used flashcards and want to give them a try then go get them.
Here is an option...

what i did was study using barron's, then take practice tests. what i missed or was uncertain of, i made my own flashcards for (ex. water soluble vs insoluble vitamins). that way, you dont waste money or time. i got a 92, if you need credibility.

Flashcards can be helpful for those biological concepts that are easy to forget, as well as some of those GRE words. You just have to be careful and not memorize things in a rote fashion. Try to understand the concepts and focus on the details that seem to escape your mind easily.
