Hi. I know there are quite a few threads about post-bacc but I haven't found the answer that I needed. I will start a post-bacc in a few weeks and is in urgent need of advice. My questions are listed below. I would appreciate any advice or suggestion.

1. do dental schools look at what science classes you take? (for example, is there a preference for bio over chem classes).

2. For bio classes, do Dschool look for whether you take hard bio classes or will any upper division bio class do? (I signed up for human sexuality but i'm not sure if they will accept that as a bio class even though the course name is bio).

3. If I work, How many class should I take per semester to prove that I can handle upper division class and a job. Would 3 classes be sufficient?

4. I currently have a overall gpa = 3.3 and scigpa = 3.0, would one year of post bacc with good grades and good DAT score help?

Thankyou in advance.

yes they do look at which science courses you take. Not sure if there is a preference of bio over chemistry.

taking upper level biology courses and doing well will in them will only help your application

3. If i work, how many class should i take per semester to prove that i can handle upper division class and a job. Would 3 classes be sufficient?
i'd still try to be a full-time student, but only you can gauge your capability and also depends on how many hours you need to work.

4. I currently have a overall gpa = 3.3 and scigpa = 3.0, would one year of post bacc with good grades and good dat score help?
definitely, try to get the best possible grades and a high dat score. Don't take the dat until you feel comfortable. Good luck

thankyou in advance.
you are welcome
