Hey Guys,
I applied for 2 different fields that both require a prelim year. I interviewed at my top ranked prelim telling them that I was applying for radiation oncology, but am now hoping to match into another field (which I have ranked higher). Would it be a problem if I matched into the other field and at this prelim even though they think I am going into radiation oncology? Would the program be upset? Is this a violation of some sort?
Basically, could I get screwed for not communicating to the prelim that I am planning on going into the other field and not RO?
Know its super last minute cause I just certified my ROL, but if this is going to be an issue I might go back and change it....
