Hey everyone. Just curious if anyone has some good images of stained urine sediment slides with the cells/crystals/whatever labeled? Before my coworker left for a new job, she briefly explained sediment slides to me, but I am not confident being able to identify what is important and what is junk.. Any images or tips would be greatly appreciated!! I've tried to look through books at the clinic but most of the images are of unstained sediment so it is hard to compare..

I don't have any pictures on this computer, but I can tell you a few of the things that we mainly looked for when running urinalyses. Struvite crystals, calcium oxalate crystals, RBCs, WBCs, epithelial cells, and bacteria.

Here's a link to Cornell's Urine Sediment Atlas. It looks like a useful site to me: https://ahdc.vet.cornell.edu/clinpath/modules/ua-sed/crystal1.htm

(Hopefully I can post this. Let me know if I need to delete/edit anything.)
