For the University of St. Augustine, what is the difference between an Autobiography and a Personal Statement? Would my reasoning on why I want to be a PT and grade trends struggles be included in the autobiography?

"Autobiography: Essay that includes information about your past educational, professional, and personal pursuits, and how they have brought you to the health sciences field. Include any additional information that would not be discerned through documents such as transcripts, resumes, etc.

Statement of Purpose: Formal statement declaring why you wish to pursue a career in the health sciences, and why you chose University of St. Augustine for that pursuit."

An autobiography explains how you arrived at your decision to wan to become a PT. The school wants to know who you are, what you're interested in, what motivates you, and what your history is. How has your past made you who you are today?

A personal statement lists what your goals are. Write what you want to achieve and what you wish to accomplish at USA.

In my autobiography I wrote basically about events in my life that led me (directly or indirectly) to where I am now: applying to a PT school. I included my grade trends in this essay.
In the purpose of statement I wrote in more details why I choose to be a PT, why I want to apply to USA, what I expect from my education in USA, what I can contribute to it, and why I will succeed.
