USC Acceptances?

I just checked the USC website for application status

and it says "Alternate"

anyone know what this means?
anyone else got this status?

Just checked my usc portal and nothing changed. Status still reads:interview. Is that mean I am not an alternate but rather accepted?

Also, they said everyone not accepted now but interviewed will be automatically placed on the waitlist.

From what I've heard, everyone who gets "interviewed" there (if you can call it an interview) gets their status changed to "alternate". I don't know if/when/how they'll let us know about acceptances.

they wouldve emailed you about your acceptance first. then the status on aadsas and the USC website changes to "offer made"
