Are USC and BU tough schools to get in?
*Be honest

From what i've heard from students who've gone through the interview process and from looking at their students' statistics, USC doesn't seem like a difficult school to get into, respective to other dental schools of course

With SC it depends if you're average Joe Applicant or happen to know some people

there is no such thing as a easy school to get into. BU is very hard and takes alot of NY students. The only easy schools are the ones that are public and in the state you live in.

I wouldn't say there are any easy schools to get into. Some states have state-run schools, and only accept in-state applicants. But even in that situation, the applicants are fewer, but the competition is very tough. Do your best academicly, and be prepared to represent yourself in an interview...........you can go anywhere you want.

I don't think there is such a thing as easy schools! I have several friends who applied to USC last year and got rejected! There are many students on this forum who have good stats and can get into USC, but it is not the case for everyone. There are many folks who live in California and they still can't get into USC!

From the stats they gave us the first day of orientation for the class of 2012:

3,151 applicants
675 interviewed
144 class size
