Is it ok if I fill in the USC's secondary application by pen? I don't have PDF to do type it🙁

it should be fine.
I just got back from the USC 10/2 interview and we asked the adcom the same question. They said that it was fine.

if you really want to though, you can type it up and paste it on.

I typed it using photoshop. That's another way around printing and pasting.

They give it to you with the interview invite. If you haven't received an interview, then don't worry about it yet.

i did mine on a typewriter...do they do a formal interview because it doesnt say that anywhere on the itinerary. it kinda seems like the secondary is the interview.

They do not do a formal interview (well.... they do, but only for reapplicants). So you are right in stating that the secondary is similar to an interview.
