man. I'm trying to figure that out too and my interview is on Wednesday.

there were no specific directions on the form so I'm gonna do me a favor and hand-write them all in.

ive been trying to figure that out too! My interview is on thursday so its looking like my forms will be hand-written 😕

ya im thinking of just hand writing the questions because I don't know how else to do it. Unless you do trial and error and try to double print it exactly into the space.

ok for everyone interested. I just called and they said yea they know that it's not a fill-in form and to just go ahead and fill it in by hand.

what form are you guys talking about? Do they give it to you when you get an interview invite?

do you guys know of any questions they ask at the interview? mine is sept 29 and i'm SO nervous! it's my very first one 🙂

That's exactly what I did. I write big and needed the room so I spaced everything appropriately and then printed directly onto the questionnaire.

its pbl .. there's no one on one i think.

Correct... no questions.... just a mock PBL session.

You get it with an interview invite. You will bring it with you and submit it the day of the interview.

Problem based learning- it's a scenario that you play out from the beginning to the end.

I'm confused... How are you evaluated via PBL?? Do they give you a scenario.. i.e. you witnessed your friend cheating.. do you turn him in?

if u get an interview... they will supply you with a website link in the email about the entire pbl process.

It's no secret: http://www.usc.edu/hsc/dental/students/PBL2/index.html

Ummm... you do PBL and they evaluate you. Don't know how you came up with that whole cheating scenario idea. If you read the website above you'll see that we learn through cases. We are given a part of the case that is 1-3 paragraphs long. It may have a patient that complains of left shoulder pain or something. Then as a group we come up with ideas (i.e I think the pain in the shoulder is radiating from an MI). In the interview you stop here after idea generation. As students the next step is then breaking off and each taking a part of the case/ideas to research (i.e. MI's, neural anatomy of chest, etc.)

lol get a clue man, go look at the interview feedback section of sdn

For the form...

what's the difference between a hobby, special interest, talent..etc...

I filled out all my hobbies and talents.. but now I feel like I have nothing left for special interests?!

If you don't have anything that's a-ok. They probably word it that way to keep the question open for a variety of responses. Don't feel like you need to suddenly create a special interest. And to everyone else... I would refrain from putting down some controversial special interest that could raise a red flag.
