Congratulations!! Hearing from USC was a pleasant surprise, it seems like they have a very diverse bench test and they tend to change the pattern every year.

hii all, just wanted to know do schools provide typhodonts for the exam or are we supposed to arrange for the same.

I think we have to bring our own typodont (columbia for USC)
 
for buying wax blocks , lecrons carver and cd showing step by step preparation of different teeth here is link http://thedrtools.com/waxes/
For list of instruements that USC recommends to bring with you to ebench you can email [email protected] to request it. We also have rental kits for USC including calibrated typodont ( limited quantities) here is link http://thedrtools.com/rental-packs-for-usc-interview-candidates/

Hi guys,

Please pour some information regarding practical exam.
I heard they ask us to prepare gold preparations, inlay and onlay preparation. Is that true?
Some are saying only PFM preparation, class II preparation, and tooth carving. If any one know about this please comment.
What about the writing exam? is it MCQ type or essay type?

Anyone who got an invite for the USC can you please tell me what was the date of acceptance of the interview and when are the interviews scheduled? I am on the waiting list and wondering when would I be hoping to get a call.
 
Hi Snel, the interview is on this weekend. Usually it takes about one month to get the results of acceptance. Good luck!

Sorry to say but they are done for this years interview, they will select students from those that they interviewed on 24th n 25th OCT.

150 candidates were interviewed this time & of them 34 will be offered acceptances, towards the end of November.

Are you certain about this? what does alternate list mean anyway?
