i'm considering doing that for a different school...what made you sure you wanted to cancel it? were they nice about it? I'm kinda afraid to call.

If you are afraid, send them a nice email or hand written mail.
That's what I did for Loma Linda, and they actually send me a nice reply mail. Honestly, I was very impressed. Oh well, a little too late. 🙄

Well, I checked the price of my airline ticket the other night and it was like 350, but I did not have my credit card on me that night to purchase it. So 2 days later, I'm ready to buy my ticket to LA and it is $637. I was like woah!!!!!

And I applied to USC as my "safety" school in case I did not get many interviews, but I've gotten more that expected! Then reviewing their tuition, cost of living, etc. I decided that I really would not attend USC even if I did not get in anywhere else.
So I wasted ~150 in applying to a school I would not attend! Stupid me!!!

The person who answered my call was kinda nice. I ask if I could reschedule even though their letter said you could not reschedule, but he/she told me I was not allowed to. He/she said they will pull my file and throw it out. Have a nice day.

I must ask what are your schools that USC is a "safety" and where did you get interviews to?

I got interviews at Case, Nova, Penn, New Jersey, NYU, Temple.
USC was my safety school because it is very far from home (East Coast).
