I was thinking to myself since the the SC interviews are over, lets make a poll of the essay topics they have given us. I think this will help out the rejecties of this year ALOT for next year!!! ehem....

I was thinking to myself since the the SC interviews are over, lets make a poll of the essay topics they have given us. I think this will help out the rejecties of this year ALOT for next year!!! ehem....

For USC I dont' think you can really prepare for the "essay" ahead of time because it is only a summary - not really a topic that you can practice writing about. However, here are some essay topics I was asked at other schools:

"If you could invite three people to dinner, dead or alive, who would they be and why"

" Is it beneficial for college students to participate in extracurricular activities?"

"Explain about a time,achievement, situation..etc.. that you are proud of an why?"

There is an interview feedback section on SDN where you can talk about the interview process and questions anonymously. I would recommend that as a method of passing on your experiences. It's on the "jump to" menu at the top of the page.
