maybe i'm just a dork /worry wart/anxious/nervous/ a pre-dental student..

for those who interviewed @ usc.. how was it? i'm not asking for details (cuz yes we are all competition) but just, ur experience, was it group/individual/..did they try to stump u with questions?

im just afraid that in group interviews..people will try to outshine eachother, which is REALLY annoying in my book..

One thing that sticks with interviewers no matter what the subject is would be assertiveness and confidence, in my opinion. Some simple tips I can offer- keep your chin up, have a constant but subtle smile, and always keep eye contact. If you truly believe what you say while you're doing this they will remember you, I promise

I keep running that annoying guy/girl in your discussion who just won't shut up every class and who only makes sense half the time but won't let anyone else talk.

Their non-clinical curriculum is 100% PBL so you do a mock-PBL as your "interview." There is no 1 on 1. If you have done a 1 on 1, expect this one to be about 10 times less stressful. I know people always say that you should relax and just be confident...but usually in the end you get nervous anyway. Trust me, there's absolutely no reason to be nervous about USC. Good luck! 👍

Lol, there was one like that at our interview, wouldn't shut up, or let anyone talk to the D4s at lunch. Finally he ran out of questions, and other ppl got to chime in. And he had a stupid smile on his face the whole time. Super annoying. Don't be fake, be yourself.

thanks! i will take ur word for it =! i did have a 1 on 1 last year and YES it was stressful but really easy..minus my rambling, but that's what i do in stressful situations.. thanx for the advice. i'll post my feedback after the interview. and thanx for the gl!

i'm scared still but that's normal? an dyes..no moatter what, i think people are nervous regardless of the school...
