To those of you who had your interview this past Friday (Oct. 8) can you share your experience? How was the PBL Case run? Can you tell us what the topic was? I always hear some random case they give. Good luck!

I had the USC interview last friday. It was by far the best one yet of the four others. Very laid back and actually fun!! The PBL case session is nothing like an interview it is basically just a group discussion. Participate, throw in your two cents and you'll feel fine. It is nothing medically ours was just a case on a problem with a household item. Do not stress about it, relax and have a good time. Everyone was great, and by the end of the long day we all became friends. The tour was great we actually got to walk through all the clinics and talk to students about what they were doing and how they like the PBL. Oh and get the chicken burrito for lunch at cafe 84 it is to die for!! Good luck

I was wondering if an individual interview is also involved for USC? Is the group case study only interview of USC? Your cooperation is highly appreciated.

There are no 1-1 interviews at USC. Its only group interviews.

If you are a reapplicant, you will have an one on one interview with the admission director or one of the faculty members. BUT, you will have to go through the PBL case interview, as well..

I had my interview on Oct 8th. I did everything all over again, plus the 1-1 interview with the director of admission. She was very pleasant, and just curious what I have been doing since the last time of my visit to USC. talked briefly about why dentist, and why USC... She told me not to worry, so I don't worry =)
