Hey guys. For those of you who got interviews from USC or know anything about that school, when did they start sending out interviews? Dont they send out confirmation letters or postcards or something before you get the interviews? I havent heard anything from the school yet.

All i got was a letter asking for the application fee. This was a few days ago.

I got an email on Oct 4th telling me that I was offered an interview and to call and schedule it. It also told me that the offical invitation letter would be sent a little later! I received the letter in the mail today! I think they just started interviewing but I couldn't give you a date.

I haven't heard from USC yet. Can you tell me when you submitted your AADSAS application and when you took your DAT?

AADSAS: June 19
DAT: Aug 22

I haven't heard from any school. I'm a little worried.

I received an email on oct. 3rd. i dont know the exact date when they started calling ppl, but im pretty sure it's just recently.

AADSAS sent my apps in mid-june, and i got a confirmation from USC in mid-september.

also, DAT taken in late june.

AADSAS was submitted on 17th of May and mailed out to schools on 8th of July. I took the DAT on the 9th of July! I'm pretty sure that they just started sending out interviews so don't sweat it! I'm sure you'll have one soon. Good luck.

man i want to interview for USC....i havent heard anything so far 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

i havent even gotten a postcard saying they received my fee.....and my bank account shows that they withdrew the money like 2 months ago....blech

i called usc and they are really not friendly at all....they just say they cant check your status for you over the phone....i mean what the heck!?!?! 👎

I interviewed there last year and was impressed with the school and the tradition. I wasn't a fan of PBL, the large classes or the $$$. They apparently weren't too impressed with me either 🙂 I wouldn't have attended anyway.

I hear you man, I'm doing the PBL thing at SC and believe me....is not that impressing. 100% PBL classes simply does not work. Since you get to work in groups, sometimes you clash with somebody in your group and the whole thing becomes a nightmare. Like, right now I simply hate my group and wish I was transfered to another group...but once again, is the luck of the draw. I feel that I don't belong in this school, although I thought I did in the begining. Once you get to meet some of the egos around here, and having to interact with on a daily basis, you conception of things change. Clinically speaking, the school is wonderful and its reputation...of course incredible, I mean.. these are the USC Trojans, the best team in america and with a tradition like no other...Obviously the brand will take you places, but while you're in at SC, you might not loved it 100%...My two cents

I've applied there and not heard anything. But, since I have been getting a good amount of interview requests, I don't nimd. In fact, USC is one of my last choices even though it is less than half an hour away. I don't like that fact that you are basically paying one of the highest tuitions in the country to TEACH YOURSELF!! (PBL)
