For those of you looking to go to USC, I just thought I'd give you a heads up about their interviews.

I just got an email interview invite (on 10/4) for their very first interview session. (Wed, 10/10) It was really short notice and I have a class that day that I absolutely cannot miss. I'm guessing that they are having 30-40 students invited for that day (I read somewhere on this forum that they have larger groups to practice PBL)

I called their office and informed them that I would not be able to make it that day. They said they will remove me from that list and put me back on for the next notification. They don't yet know when that notification is, but they definitely will have more (they only have one interview day scheduled so far).

So for those of you that haven't heard anything, keep your hopes up 😀

BTW, harjay did they update your status on their website or on AADSAS?

they still haven't updated me on AADSAS (still has no update at all)

I don't think they have/ or are unaware that they have their own website update.

Its your AADSAS # but it hasn't been working for a couple weeks now. Congrats on your interview.

just saw your stats from predents. no wonder why you got chosen for their first choice.

If your waiting on USC don't get discouraged. Last year they interviewed well into april/early may an were still accepting people from those interviews! Your in for a long ride with USC unfortunately. Good luck, if anyone has specific questions about them feel free to PM me I interviewed there late last year.

I haven't been able to login to most of them, but I got UoPs to work.. and it says waiting for my $50. oops. I'd better get on that on monday.

Make sure to capitalize your last name

This notice was for the very first interview day available (10/10/07). Since I had to cancel, they added me back for people to invite for their next interview. so, *likely* I will be in the first group that is notified again for the next date (They wouldn't tell me when that was).

Please can you tell us what the technical exam was ,and did you have to fill the preps or you just prepared teeth. Where there any written exam or dental related questions .

I'm out of state and I havn't checked my on-line status - it never really works for me.

USC is a private school so instate/out of state shouldn't make a difference. I have not been able to make the online status checker work.

Why wouldn't you be able to make it to any of the interview days? I can understand if you have another interview scheduled for all those days, but I think we all got into this knowing we would have to plan our lives around interview days.

Well if you have an interview on precisely those days (note that two of those days are Fridays, my favorite interview day), then you just simply can't make it. I may very well have to cancel my invite for this express purpose.

I had to cancel my invite for the first round, but I'm in on the second.
You should call the school and ASK if or when they will have another round of interviews. Since they only have 4 dates total so far, I'm sure they probably will.
I suspect they will not give you any idea when the next set will be, but they can put you on the list to be re-invited for next time.

Currently, we are taking appointments for the following interview sessions. Each session is limited to 30 participants. Each interview day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at approximately 2:00 p.m.
