The only school I got admitted into is USC this cycle. I am a resident of Texas and I'm considering applying there instead. Would it be a good decision of going to USC? The COA is very scary and California is far for me.

Should I take a gamble on next cycle (GPA: 3.77, sGPA: 3.69, DAT 22 AA) or just attend USC and not wait until next year.

This is a no-brainer. 100% reapply. USC will run you 700k+ which is akin to financial suicide. There are four Texas schools, all of which your stats should make you competitive for, and the Texas schools are some of the cheapest in the country. I'd recommend you spend this year living at home and working full time. That way, you could even potentially pay for your entire first year at a Texas school out of pocket.

No clue if thats true or not but either way nobody should be going to USC and paying 700k+ even if that's your only option. I'd apply again to TX and if that didn't work out then I'd pick another career.
