Has anyone been contacted by an admission officer yet? If so when?

when or how did you receive that message? Have you been invited yet for interview?? The only reason I would see that they needed one is for an ID for interview or something..

The only thing I received from USC was a receipt for my application fee. Does that constitute an "admissions officer contacting you?" I'm not sure, but I was waiting on an email or letter explicitly stating "please send a photo," or something like it.

Did you receive a letter in the mail that said your AADSAS was received? Is that what they mean by when an "admissions officer contacts you"?

I wouldn't know. The only piece of mail they sent me had a receipt inside with nothing else. I thought it was a bit strange, but didn't make a big deal out of it because it was so early in their cycle.

I called the admissions office and they said the picture is not mandatory.

They told me they will send out a separate email/letter and specifically request a photo later on.

USC asks you to bring the 2x2 photo to your interview, along with a survey that they mail to you when they invite you.
