Hello!

Has anyone applied to USC and know their prerequisites?

On their website, http://pt.usc.edu/Education/Programs/PhysicalTherapy/DPT/Prerequisites/

They make it sound like they do not require any general/advanced biology classes, mentioning only anatomy and physiology under "biological sciences" prerequisite.

However, on this document,

http://www.ptcas.org/uploadedFiles/...sites/PTCASCoursePrereqsApplicants2012_13.pdf

it seems like USC requires 1 year of biology (general).

Does anyone know exactly what USC's biology requirement is?

Also, is it true that most schools require only 1 biology class? like microbio?

Thank you.

If you read the USC prereq requirement it says at least 4 semesters or 6 quarter units of advanced biology, anatomy and physio would only take up 2 of the four required semesters, meaning they want two more upper division bio courses.

wow. 4 semesters. totally misread that as 4 units.

so

general biology 1,2 or general biology 1 + microbiology

both of these combinations should work, right?
