Hi everyone,
My USC interview is comming in 2 weeks. Could anyone give me some tips and comments on how I can prepare for the USC interview?
Any tips on how I can be successful in doing the PBL is really appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there.

From my experience, the interview is quite informative. Don't worry too much about case observation, financial overview and lunch with students. You only have to listen =)

Just be active BUT DO NOT OVERPOWER others
Be nice and friendly. Show them you can be a teammate!!

MWSUNG,

Thank you very much for sharing the info with us. I wish you the best of luck on your interviews.

mwsung, I've also signed up for the Oct. 8th interview. Anyone else going to be there that day?

What is a "PBL"? 😕

I just wrote everything I know because I know I will get in somewhere for sure. =)

Also, it doesn't matter whether you know stuff or not beforehand for USC interview. Most invited applicants will eventually get in IF they don't keep their mouth shut during PBL.

Good luck everyone~~!
USC is an excellent school to invest your money & time!!
-btw, I am not a part time USC dental admission staff..
-I don't get paid.... u know.. it's like an unofficial Wendy's... thing

Yeah, thanks for the great overview you gave us. Best of luck on your 1-on-1 interview 👍

Do other schools also have this PBL thing as well?

MWSung: I tried to PM you but there wasn't an option to do so, for some reason. Anyhow, thank you so much for that advice on the USC Interview. USC is my top choice. Would you mind sharing your stats and DAT scores. Just to get an idea...

thanks

DAT - Canadian ( ) = my first attempt

Plus, one publication, 3 semesters of research experience, lot of volunteering, canadian military reservist, etc etc...

Hope this helps

I heard that USC is the only school with a full PBL program...other schools Harvard and Indiana? have partial PBL and partial traditional lectures?
