For USC secondary, they have questions such as

Please provide a summary of your most relevant leadership experiences

Briefly describe your most relevant extra-curricular activities (volunteer, research, serving disadvantaged or underserved populations, etc...) related to your interest in medicine.

Since they are in plural, 'experiences', 'activities', should we write more than one example?

Thanks.

they also have a character limit. its up to you. i just focused on one example and expanded on it saying everything i wanted to say.

okay in all seriousness....what if you have no relevant leadership experiences?

in all seroiusness, most premeds are 20 yr old college kids. do you really think everyone else has organized a gov't healthcare program in africa? most kids try to puff up trivial things like "led study group of 4 disadvantaged kids for 3 hours a week" or "funded and organized week long medical trip to hawaii (thanks mom!)". adcoms proclaim to take ECs seirously and it sticks out if u've won a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke, but just make sure u get a good mcat and gpa, u'll be fine. as for the stupidessay, just write what they want to hear. we all are jumppin thru the same stupid hoops.

it must be either really boring or really fun to be an adcom.

btw, who should i write down as my rolemodel? i'm thinking either ron jeremy or gandhi
